All twenty two of the entries for the logo contest are now hanging in the St. Anthony library to be judged by the community. Please go visit the library and vote for your top three favorites.

Judging will end when the library closes Wednesday, Feb. 25th, 2009. Winners will be announced Friday, Feb. 27th, 2009.

The deadline to submit entries ended today. Twenty two entries were submitted. Most by students of South Fremont High School and some from Home Schooled Students.

The South Fremont Senior Citizen’s Center in connection with
South Fremont News and Views and the Eastern Idaho Community Action Partnership (EICAP), The Idaho Volunteer RSVP Program and the St. Anthony Branch of the Fremont County Library District present a contest:

The South Fremont Senior
Citizen's Center needs a logo


*All students, ages 14 through 18, from south Fremont County, are invited to design a suitable logo for the Center.

Prizes for the winner of the logo contest

  • **Logo size needs to be at least 6 inches by 6 inches.
  • All entries need to be submitted on 8.5 x 11 paper by Friday, February 20th, 2009 to the St. Anthony Branch of the Fremont County Library District.
  • Entries need the artist’s name, address, phone number and e-mail address on the back of the artwork.
  • Three different groups will judge the entries: The Senior Center staff, the Seniors and the Community. The entries will be posted in the St. Anthony Branch of the Fremont County District Library where members of the Community can view and vote on the entries.
  • Entrants should visit the South Fremont Senior Center or the South Fremont Senior Center web site to learn about the Senior Center so that their logo reflects the spirit of the Senior Center.
  • Limit of two entries per person.


All entries need to be turned into the St. Anthony branch of the Fremont County Library District where they will be exhibited and judged.

*Exceptional entries from 12 and 13 year old students may also be accpeted. South Fremont County is defined as cities or areas in Fremont County from Chester south to Salem and from Newdale west to Egin.

*The winning entries will also need to be submitted in a common electronic format at 300 dpi.
